Message from Twyla Kowalenko, Director of our new Community Outreach:
The practice of Dance Our Way Home is centred around community and envisions one where ALL women are included and ALL women are given the space to dance their way home.
The barriers that keep women from accessing this healing and transformative practice are many, however, and stem from socio-economic, geographical, cultural sources. The Community Outreach component was born from the desire to overcome such barriers and to truly make the practice of Dance Our Way Home available to all women.
Initiated in the spring of 2010 by Twyla Kowalenko, the promising project is being continually built by a growing community of women who are passionate about sharing the practice with others.
Current Offerings:
Attainment, 6-Week Series: Open for drop-ins
Saturday, October 16- November 20 2-4pm
Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Rd., 3rd floor, Toronto
This new series is the 4th of 5 DOWH Intro Level Series -- Nest, Nourishment, Unfolding, Attainment and Freedom. No previous series attendance needed.
Attainment is a personal journey of self-discovery, empowerment and manifestation. Through free-style dance, relaxation, guided imagery, and community, we will explore the ease and flow of magic-making (a shift of perception) by being relaxed and fully present with our intentions, body wisdom, dreams and desires.
We will connect with the healthy Choice Maker within who KNOWS you and what you need. We will find and release obstacles that prevent us from making our dreams reality, and celebrate the joys of co-creating in a place of power, depth and love.
Come be nourished and inspired each week in a safe and sacred space of dance, relaxation and guided imagery, in the warmth of a sweet circle of women.

Full Series: $125 (6 sessions for the price of 5)
Attend the full series (preferred choice) and get the benefits of a weekly practice, at a discounted price. Pre-paid registration is required for the discount. No refunds or exchanges.Drop-Ins: $25
DROP-In as often as you can (ideal for women who can't commit to the full series). No pre-paid registration is required for this option.
After each session we will continue the DOWH practice by moving to a nearby coffee shop to process and share our experiences for a short while. Come when you can.
