My beautiful women,
I hope you are having a bliss-filled summer so far.
Tomorrow, Saturday, August 8, will be my last session of the summer. It's not too late to join me for the last FREEBIE for newcomers. Email me if you are interested in coming out and I'll let you know what, when and where.
I want to thank all the women who have been so generous of heart to share their feedback, and hopes and dreams for DOWH. Because of YOU, I was compelled to think deep and vast, and to dream-in a NEW & IMPROVED DOWH, with an expanded vision and purpose. DOWH is now a multi-level spiral path of experiences. Here is what I mean:
From this fall 2009, until summer 2010, 5 NEW Introductory Level Series will be offered, entitled: Nest, Nourishment, Unfolding, Attainment and Freedom.
In the spring and summer of 2010, in addition to the Intro Level Series, I will be offering 3 Intermediate Level Series. Once you have moved through a couple Intro Level Series, and an Intermediate Level Series, you will be able to participate in a beautiful Apprenticeship Programme, planned to begin in the fall of 2010.
And… the spiral doesn’t end there. For those of you who expressed a desire to become DOWH facilitators, you will have an opportunity to join the Leadership Programme. (Starting date TBA.)
I also heard your desire to have time to process and share your experiences with the other women you have danced with. I understand the value and preciousness that sharing and talking can bring, especially after being in a 'no-talking' transformative space, so I'm adding time after each Series session just for that!
The final piece of feedback I heard is your desire to have new experiences outside of the DOWH practice, and so a 9-week Series, "Sundays with the Muse", was born. These Sundays will not only support your DOWH journey, but it will showcase 8 brilliant local wise women (plus moi) and build a woman's network and community for wisdom-sharing and exploring. And all 9 Sundays are "Pay-What-U-Want".
A newsletter dedicated just to "Sundays with the Muse" will follow. Be sure to read it. You will love the offerings.
I am so excited to share this new spiral journey with YOU! And... keep bringing the feedback please! Below is the fall line-up. Registration is now open for Introductory Level Series I & II.
Please go to www.danceourwayhome.com to stay in the loop. There is magic-afoot!
In joy, Erica

Ecstatic Dance for Women
Saturday, October 31, '09 2-4pm
Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Rd., 3rd floor, Toronto $13
With a less instructional venue than a DOWH workshop or series; there will be an opening circle followed by a long, delicious musical set (soul, global funk, sacred chants, ambient, electronica, women's voices and more) designed to liberate your inner dancer. We'll end in a simple prayerful closing circle.
No experience needed, only a willingness to move, and be moved.
Come with friends. Drop-in whenever. No registration needed.
After much work, the first two nodes of domain name registration what would become the ARPANET were interconnected between UCLA's School of Engineering and Applied Science and SRI International (SRI) in Menlo Park, California, on October 29, 1969. The ARPANET online marketing was one of the "eve" networks of today's Internet. Following the demonstration that packet switching worked on the ARPANET, the British Post Office, Telenet, DATAPAC and TRANSPAC collaborated to create the first international packet-switched network service. In the UK, this was referred to as the International Packet Switched Service (IPSS), in 1978. The collection of X.25-based networks grew from Europe and the US to cover Canada, Hong Kong and Australia by 1981. The X.25 packet switching standard was developed in the CCITT (now called ITU-T) around 1976.
